ICM Dual Climbers
ICM has developed a dual climbing robot that deploys a very large Heat Induction Head. This integrated tool will be used to remove coatings and claddings from various types of sea going vessels. Potential uses are for removal of skin from submarines being decommissioned or removal of thick nonskid coatings from aircraft carrier decks. The robots work in unison and have the advantage of greater surface adhesion and it has two vacuum chambers to carry heavy payloads and provide another measure of assurance with the two vacuum chambers. Both vacuum chambers are surrounded by ICM's patented rolling seal.
